…in true Hollywood style, he took Ronnie at Woodcote, the most difficult corner on the circuit – if not in the world. That was in the days before the chicane when Woodcote was a breathtaking, blood-tingling 160 mph bend that had cars lurching and sliding on the very limit. A difficult corner to take without the added complication of trying to pass someone at the same time.
(or, indeed, the added complication of having a broken gear lever and a burnt clutch ;-))
